Upon getting up, Tsuki realized she wasn’t the same. She had… changed. Although her face was completely different, it still looked like a mix of European and Japanese faces, but her hair was longer. It went down to the bottom of her back, as if she hadn’t cut her hair in seven years. Hopefully, the front was styled to her tastes. There was other details to notice : the clothing and the color scheme. Her hair was bright purple and her eyes were… blue as always. Her clothing wasn’t bad, it looked good, actually. Tsuki wore a purple skirt, along with a pink shirt overlayed by a cream coloured stylish jacket with a magenta trim. She also wore black futuristic looking boots.
「How is this going to…」 Tsuki thought. 「Do I have any special power with those headphones ?」
She went out and took a look at her surroundings. 「I wonder if…」 She saw a ball on the ground. Tsuki armed her foot. She kicked the ball and… 「Awwn! Just the same.」
Was there a real signification to this pair of headphones, or were those just used to change the appearance ? Tsuki looked at a building. It was huge. It’d be really awesome if she could reach the top easily… 「Wait a second?…」 Was it her or the building was growing bigger and bigger ? No. Looking down, Tsuki realized she was flying, but what kept her up in the air ? Looking up, she saw nothing, but looking to the sides, she saw metallic wings, with some red trimming. It was amazing.
「I have wings!」 Tsuki screamed. 「I have real wings!」 She let a small silence before telling herself 「Oh, really, Miss Obvious?… Geez, none to do that joke…」
Something more important suddenly struck her mind. How does she control those wings’ direction? She didn’t have to wait long until her answer comes, as she instinctively tilted to the side to fly sideways. She flapped her wings and landed safely ontop of the building. There was a table there. A wooden table. On the table were written three names.
「Crisis, Star, Erase …」 Tsuki read. 「What kind of names are-…」 She cut herself as she realized the name Star was given to the being she was at this moment. Looking more closely at the table, she noticed there was a shoe mark right next to Crisis’ name. Tsuki wanted to try something. She flipped the table, put her finger on it. She wanted something. She wanted to make this table fly. Indeed the table flew in the air, towards the finger’s direction, creating sparkles as the table flew farther and farther. Tsuki… or actually Star, knew she had skills in archery, due to Tsuki practicing it. She then tried to summon a kind of bow. A bow with an arrow appeared in her hands. The bow was completely white, and translucent. It looked like it was made from pure light.
「So, I’d usually be a [Moon]…」 She thought.「But right now, I am a star.」 It was a play on words, true, but it was a good one. [Tsuki] meant [Moon] in Japanese. She shot the table as it was still flying away. The bow diseappeared, and Star just flew up in the air.
As she flew upwards, she saw the town growing smaller and smaller. The night lights were small, but pretty. It was amazing how Star wasn’t cold, even with this altitude.
「I didn’t know the town was that pretty from this high…」 She thought. 「But I guess nobody would actually see this.」 As she glanced at the small big town, she felt something new. She felt like she was free. Not free as in you could do whatever you wanted. Free as in, you weren’t given freedom. Freedom came itself. That was right. Star caught freedom. She looked up and sighed. 「But there’s no way I’d reach the stars.」
「I would love to have Yuuji see this with me…」 She thought. 「Wait a second, what am I thinking!?」 Yes, what was she thinking ? The idea of getting up here with someone else was completely absurd! There would have been no way to actually do this. She would have hated having someone else coming to her own place, after all. 「This will be the place I will go to when I will want to be alone… If it ever happens.」 Star said.
Star flew down. She then looked at someone standing here, seemingly he had noticed her.
「What… How are you doing this!?」 The boy asked, filled with surprise. 「And, who are you!?」
「Eh? Who do you think you are, to ask me those questions like this?」 Star answered. 「My name is Ts-… My name is Star. Now, tell me yours!」
「I’m Crisis.」 the boy answered. 「Now, answer my question. Who are you?」
A table landed on the roof of the building Star and Crisis met at, surprising them.
