2. Drunken Mistakes (UtCB!CeliaXCallie)
First there was a headache, so intense that it rendered Callie motionless. She scraped her hands from beside her and placed them on her forehead. The ice cold temperature of her fingers brushing along her aching head felt like heaven, if only for a moment. She rolled over and opened her eyes, what she saw was another female, short, messy hair in a silver bob cut and half closed crimson eyes. The other girl groaned “Are you fucking awake yet?” Callie was taken aback by the crudeness of the question, and found it odd coming from someone who she considered a stranger.
“What…happened?” her voice was weak. The other female sat up and growled.
“What’s your name?” Callie tried to answer but coughed and covered her head again “Answer me you stupid bitch!” And again the rudeness shocked Callie.
She managed to start speaking. “M-my name is Callie.” She looked up and saw the girl hop out of the bed, absolutely nude. Realizing what must have happened she flushed red and her gaze fell, being caught by something shiny on her finger: a ring.
Callie was about to ask the other girl’s name “Celia.” Celia, the other female, responded flatly as she noticed Callie’s questioning look and slightly opened mouth. “There’s a ring on my finger too.” She looked Callie over, examining every inch of her “I must have been hammered to end up with someone like you.” Celia sighed and began to dress herself. Callie pouted, covering herself up as much as she could with the blankets, becoming more self conscious of the fact that she too was also naked.
The room they were in was that of a cheap motel. It wasn’t horrible quality but it wasn’t high class either. Callie wanted to stand up and put some clothes on but she kept on remembering another pair of eyes in the room. “Get your ass out of bed and get dressed.” Celia glared at her “Really!? You’re self-conscious now? I’m pretty sure I saw everything last night, it isn’t as if you have anything to hide.” Callie knew Celia was right, and then another thought nudged her.
“You remember?”
Celia finished zipping up her jeans and crossed her arms “I remember enough.”
Callie found it odd that her memory was completely blank while this stranger seemed to know everything that happened. She was about to ask Celia, especially because she only remembered having one drink at the bar and it was when she was alone. Callie had no idea how she had met Celia or how her memory seemed to be so depleted. Celia smirked when she saw that Callie was about to ask her another question, Celia already knew what she was going to ask.
“It’s a secret. Let’s just say I wasn’t asking your name because I didn’t know it.” The smirk was coy, there was something behind it. Celia had done something to Callie in order for her to be this way. That much was obvious. “So I guess we’re married. You don’t plan on trying to divorce me now, do you?” she emphasised ‘trying’. Callie shuddered, seeing something menacing in Celia’s eyes.
