The sun emanates you
Your glow radiates
Through the vast open sky
Strings of truth
Touching all that is
Uncovering what the darkness would hide
White
Light
Revealing all to me
You show me what I desire
And most noteworthy
What I don’t want to see
There is an off switch
To look aside
To depend on the twilight
On the blackness to hide those things
That you illuminate
To keep me sheltered inside
Huddled in a thick blanket
That impairs my insight
And you show me
Everything
You will cremate my eyes
While they sit in their sockets
Forcing me to gaze at the world
With more determination
To find something to admire
